Latto Disses Ice Spice on New Single “Sunday Service”

In the latest chapter of hip-hop’s ever-evolving drama, Latto has thrown down the gauntlet with her new single “Sunday Service,” directly targeting fellow rapper Ice Spice. This fiery exchange comes on the heels of Ice Spice’s own diss track, “Think U Da Shit (Fart),” which she confirmed was aimed at Latto. Not one to shy away from confrontation, the “Put It On Da Floor” artist has clapped back, escalating the feud to new heights.

The tension between the two rappers spilled over onto social media, where Ice Spice questioned her inclusion in a snippet from Latto’s track, deeming it “weak.” The beef intensified when Latto was spotted in Ice Spice’s Bronx neighborhood, accompanied by a fleet of black Suburbans, to shoot the video for “Sunday Service,” a move that has been labeled as “insanely petty” by onlookers and fans alike.

While the video for “Sunday Service” has yet to premiere, the lyrics within the single speak volumes. Latto makes a bold entrance with the lines:

“Twenty black Suburbans, we pull up like Sunday Service I just want a one on one, don’t know why she so nervous”

This not-so-subtle jab sets the tone for the track, which doesn’t hold back in its critique of Ice Spice. Latto further broadens her scope by potentially taking aim at Nicki Minaj, referencing a “tweeting spree” in a manner that suggests a critique of artists who engage more in social media battles than in their music:

“Do you rap or do you tweet? ‘Cause I can’t tell, get in the booth, bitch Stop all that motherfuckin’ yellin’, ho ‘Cause I ain’t buyin’ what you’re sellin’, ho”

Returning her focus to Ice Spice, Latto cleverly flips the script on the “Fart” hook, asserting her confidence and prowess:

“Think I’m the shit? Bitch, I know it, ho Jesus walked on water, I got ice boilin’ though”

This line not only rebuffs Ice Spice’s initial diss but also playfully brags about Latto’s own success and impact in the industry.

Latto’s “Sunday Service” is more than just a retort; it’s a declaration of her standing in the rap game, showcasing her lyrical prowess and readiness to defend her reputation against all comers. As the hip-hop community eagerly awaits Ice Spice’s response, this clash of talents promises to keep fans on the edge of their seats, speculating about the future directions their rivalry might take.
